This is Lent season and I have a great Lent Book. Psalm 46:10 Be still and know that I am God.
The pastor at First Christian Church of Modesto wrote article which describes me. I will just give you a small part of it.
"I am not a naturally meditative person. I squirmed and wiggled and ran around as a child. I walk when I talk. I knit when I listen. I doodle when I'm on the phone. I rarely do one thing at a time and it has always been that way.
As a result, this scripture is a challenge for me. Be still!!! Nope. Not going to happen. I simply can't. It's not in my nature. Excuses, excuses, excuses."
There is more but she finds her quiteness in knitting. I find mine in nature. That is what you will find more in my rambling.
