Marisa's graduation

Graduation day. Marisa was on top of the world! She has been on a continual party since.
The first time that I've worn my wig for a few years. I didn't get it just like I wanted. I will play with it some more. I don't know if I will wear it that much.
Today was a good day. I felt good when I woke up, had more energy and still have more than some days. I had a meeting tonight at church, go home and stir fried my new potatoes, green onions, zucchini and yellow squash. It was so good. I haven't felt like anything was good lately. Not quiet ready for protein yet. I have a appointment with the social worker at the end of the month and I asked to have a appointment with a nutritionalist. All my labs were good. There must be nothing wrong with me. Tomorrow I see the lymphodema therapist.

I also had Tai Chi. Very slow movements and uses your breathing.It is taught by a doctor. He only has one more time at this club. He said to leave my phone number. He is going to try to get a group together for free. I will leave you on this positive note.

Days of the past!It looks like you have everyone moving out to Utah with you. What a large group. I haven't done much again today. I now have your concerns about the bathroom. Will I find one in time. Will I Smell everyone out!! My diahrea has gotten worse today. I hadn't thought too much about it today until 5:00pm. I sent the doctor a message that I need some medicine for tomorrow. I hope to hear from him tomorrow morning, otherwise I will call the advice nurse and hope to get a answer before time to leave.
Now that you've called, you already know my activities for the day. They all end up at the same place--------------Bathroom.
I need to finish my list for the doctor.

Another senior ball

Everyone was so pretty that night but it was a long day. Especially without cough drops. It was cold and damp. I rested all day on Saturday since it rained all day. Today was a good day. There was a new college girl at church. She really wants to garden and she lives in the apartments across from the church. You know how excited I get about gardening,! Another great thing was my chocolate dipped soft ice cream cone. I used to get those at least once a month. Everything went down hill after that. I am tired of diahrea!
Have you seen the movie. "The lessons learned from (I forgot his first name) Sperry. A very good Christian movie. I told Norma that I would look up Midway to Heaven. It is not available.
I am going to brush my teeth, take my cough medicine and go to bed.

I think you NEED to get a new camera! Some weird effect are o.k. but you don't want it on all of the pics. Sounds like you are making enough money to get one. It rained all day today. It was a good rest day, I even took a nap. That is why I am up now. I did too much yesterday and being out in not so good weather. I coughed a lot and forgot to take my cough drops with me. When I cough, I cough from the bottom of my ribs and it hurts.I felt like I had done lots of exercise. But with today's rest, I am going back to living on cough drops and cough medicine. Happy Birthday to Terry. I hope he survives it. Birthdays are only what you make them. 40, 50 and 60 was good for me! I guess I am still trying to get over 70. It must be because I celebrated my birthday in Mother's nursing home! This dog was a decoration at the house in Monterey. I guess it is art.

Mountain Reflections

The good old days. My last camping trip. Sounds like you are really having a good day. Good luck this week end. I just got off the phone talking to Sharon and Diane's friend who has lung cancer. He was at church the Sunday that you were there. He remembers you. He is very impressed with the medicine that I am on (same one he is on) . He had a cat scan 2 weeks ago and his tumor had shrunk quite a bit. He doesn't have to see the doctor for 2 months. He has changed his diet a lot. He belongs to the same gym that I used to. We know lots of the same people. Exercise is very important to him. He recommends the book " Life after Cancer " by Block. He feels the change in the diet is the best thing that happened to him.
It is still winter here. Tonight is senior Ball and I was going to take some outdoor pictures of Marisa before the ball. It is probably a strapless cute dress but if we are outside, every goose bump will show. Of course it feels colder to me now with no hair. Maybe I will warm up if I get up and move.

Sharon's place

The closest thing I could find to Thanksgiving Point. It was fun at Sharon's and I am glad you got to meet her. I am tired tonight but had a good day. We went to the nursery this morning and Bud got a trellis for my secret garden to block out a little of the neighbor's industrial area. Of course, if I am at a nursery, I have to get some more plants. The gopher ate all but one of my green bean plants. So I bought more of those and put in a planter. 1 spagatti squash in a planter. I planted from seed last year and treated them almost like zucchini. TOO MANY! We have had such weird weather, my tomatoes don't look too good. So I bought tomatoe food--just in case they are hungry. Sunflower and zinnia seed are beginning to come up. The gophers ate my marigolds. These are the church gophers. So far my few things that I have at home haven't been touched. Not much to touch, most everything is in pots.
Your concerts sound great. I hope it doesn't rain at any of them . If so, maybe you can get one of those big golf umbrellas
Tomorrow I am going over to take a few pictures of Marisa and her friends before they leave for the senior ball. It may rain. At least they all chipped in for a limo and they won't be driving. Although we should be getting used to rain. We are above our year's normal!
I still need to take a shower and get to bed. Have a good night.

Happy Anniversary

Don't years fly by faster than these bikers! Phil was real excited that we got to watch them, even though it was raining and we were going to be a little late picking up Norma at the airport. Norma didn't let me know that it was your anniversary. I am going to need Dioni to remind me of dates.
We have had a wild day in weather. Tornado warnings here with hail, heavy rain and thunderstorms. No tornados here but I think their might have been some near your friend who is staying with her mother. First of June and it still feels like winter! To top it off, I got my head shaved today. Brrrr
The good thing today was that I went to the wellness center for exercise. I went to the Ti Chi class. The instructor who is a doctor said Ti Chi may help my breathing. I felt pretty good after that so I stayed for the ball class. I told the instructor, I would watch or do what I could.I could do most of it. I really felt good afterwards. I felt like I was with the living again.
